Ever since I heard that Mark Lanegan was going to be releasing a covers album and would be doing Chelsea Wolfe’s “Flatlands,” I could not wait to see what he had in store. The original song is such a powerful, emotional song and it’s great to hear that Mark Lanegan was able to rise to the challenge.
